ND Coffee Roastery is a 100% women-owned and women-led coffee roastery located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. We roast high-quality single origin coffees, signature blends, flavored roasts, and custom blends for wholesale partners, coffee shops, restaurants, and small businesses across the region and throughout the United States.  But the story behind the coffee goes back further than the roastery.

How It Started

Sandi Luck has been in the coffee industry for over 15 years. What started as a passion for great coffee and community grew into Bully Brew Coffee House, a beloved Grand Forks institution with multiple locations known not just for the coffee but for the culture. Regulars are greeted by name. Baristas know your order before you finish saying it. The team shows up for the community in ways that go well beyond the cup.

As Bully Brew grew, so did the need for a reliable, high-quality roasting partner. Rather than outsource that piece of the story, Sandi built it. ND Coffee Roastery was founded to supply Bully Brew and to bring that same standard of quality to wholesale partners who care as much about their coffee as we do.

Who We Are Today

ND Coffee Roastery is more than a roastery. We are a team of people who believe that coffee done right can change the feel of a place, a morning, a community.

Sandi Luck, Founder and Owner An entrepreneur for over 15 years and a former University of North Dakota professor, Sandi brings together a passion for coffee and a lifelong love of teaching and mentorship. She oversees the vision, sourcing philosophy, and educational programs at ND Coffee Roastery, including ND Coffee School.

Becky Rice, Chief Sales Officer Becky joined the company in 2021 as a manager at the Hallock location before transitioning into wholesale sales. She brings firsthand knowledge of what it takes to run a successful small town coffeehouse and uses that experience to help wholesale partners find the right coffee for their business and their customers.

Shelby Pockett, Lead Trainer Shelby leads espresso and barista training for ND Coffee School, bringing years of high-volume coffeehouse experience into a clear, hands-on curriculum. She specializes in translating daily coffee shop operations into repeatable systems that set teams up for long-term success.

What We Roast

We source premium green beans from some of the world's finest coffee-growing regions, including Ethiopia, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Brazil. Every batch is carefully roasted to highlight the natural characteristics of each origin, with a commitment to consistency, quality, and responsible sourcing.
